                               RM 20 for Category B
                               RM 40 for Category C (Per team of 3 persons)
                               RM 150for (3 persons) for all 3 categories
                               *Extra RM 5 for each category for online payment after deadline or for registration and payment made on event day.

Online registration starts on 13th March 2017.

Closing date:11th June 2017 or whenever registrations exceed 200.

Participants are required to email a copy of the receipt to maths.societyutar@gmail.com as proof of payment. A letter of confirmation will be sent to the participants within 14 working days if the payment has been received.

EVENT OBJECTIVES:

·To cultivate interest in Mathematics among high school, college and university students.

To enhance Mathematical knowledge and cultivate creative and critical thinking skills among the students.

To seek and encourage mathematically gifted undergraduate students in Malaysia.

To promote both undergraduate and postgraduate Mathematics-based courses offered by UTAR.

To foster friendly ties between high schools, colleges and universities.

To foster ties between research center members and students. 

COMPETITION FORMAT:

RULES:

1.Categories A, B, and C are open to all undergraduate students, including students from pre-university level (STPM, Foundation, A-Levels, etc.). Participants can take part in either one or more categories.

2.Reference materials are not allowed.

3.Electronic communication devices are not allowed during the competition.

4.Order of submission may be used for arbitration in ranking in the case of tie in marks.

5.Competition will start on schedule as per stated time. No late comers are allowed.

6.Participants who are found to be dishonest during the competition will be disqualified from the competition.

7.The organizer reserves the right to change the location if required. All efforts will be taken to minimize inconvenience.

8.The organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify the program, rules and regulations without prior notice.

9.

10.The judges' decision will be final and no appeals will be considered.

11.The committee members and all students involved in the organizing of the competition are not allowed to participate in the competition.
