THE Asia University Rankings

UTAR is ranked #111-120 in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2017, as announced by the UK based Times Higher Education on 15th March 2017. The 2017 Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings rank the top 300 universities in Asia, and are based on the same rigorous criteria as the THE World University Rankings but with special modifications to better reflect the characteristics of Asia's universities. These criteria include 13 separate performance indicators in the areas of teaching, research, paper citation, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
