Course: English for Management

English is the dominant business language and it has become almost a necessity for people to speak English if they are to enter a global workforce. Research from all over the world shows that cross-border business communication is most often conducted in English and it is very important in the global market place.

This course introduces you to different types of management reports, effective management in meetings and proper oral presentation skills. It also focuses on developing your ability to communicate in business and management situations. Emphasis will be given to the honing of critical thinking and analytical skills, writing reports, making effective presentations and participating in meetings.

Certification:
1. Certificate of Achievement will be awarded by UTAR to those who register for examination mode and pass the examination.
OR
2. Certificate of Attendance will be awarded by UTAR to those who register for non-examination mode.
