UTAR Outstanding Alumni Awards 2023

Dear UTAR Alumni / Staff / Students,

The UTAR Outstanding Alumni Award is designed to recognise and celebrate the achievements of UTAR alumni, both professionally and personally, for their outstanding performance and contribution to their profession and the local community at state, national and international levels. Furthermore, we hope that this award can inspire and motivate more alumni and current UTAR students to do their best in their academic and career.

The categories of the UTAR Outstanding Alumni Award for nomination are as follows:
a) Business, Economics and Entrepreneurial
b) Creativity and Innovation
c) Cultural and Artistic
d) Environmental and Sustainability
e) Sociality, Humanitarianism and Volunteerism
f) Sports Achievement
g) Professional, Academic and Research Excellence

The nominator must provide a statement of at least 600 words describing the qualities and contributions that make the nominee a worthy recipient of an award. The statement should demonstrate how the nominee?s contribution has made a difference within their chosen profession or the community, and why they are worthy of special recognition.

All shortlisted candidates will be invited to the UTAR Outstanding Alumni Award ceremony, where the result will be announced and the prizes will be presented during the UTAR Alumni Annual Dinner.
